Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP)

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply to fill in the above vacancy which is within the Human Capital (HC) function based in Durban or Johannesburg

The HCBP role will contribute to effective people management throughout the company, facilitate operational change, provide a framework, and focus on best HC practices, to ensure the company’s HC requirements are met.

The core responsibilities of the position include:

• Implement talent management strategies.
• Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
• Review, update and implement HC Policies, procedures, and systems.
• Apply remuneration and benefits philosophies, policies, and structures.
• Provide a training and development service to line managers and employees.
• Facilitate implementation of Performance Management
• Execute employment equity strategies.
• Assist, guide, and support line managers with Human Capital practices and processes.
• Apply for guidance and support on employee relations.
• Assist with the implementation of Human Capital initiatives and projects into the business as and when required.
• Ensure legislative compliance with all employment legislation including relevant submissions.

The requirements for this position include:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in the HCBP role or equivalent role and at least 2 years’ experience in the management role.
• Ability to engage with the business and develop relationships.
• Good administrative skills and attention to detail
• Being self-motivated with good people and communication skills, written or oral
