DUT Career Workshop Day 1

Today we participated at the Career Workshop organised by the Durban University of Technology’s Faculty of Accounting and Informatics, Department of Financial Accounting. The aim of this 2-Day Career Workshop is to provide guidance to Accounting students as they find their way into the Accounting profession and furthering their studies. 

Our slot was themed: Human Resources in Action, and our Human Capital Division officials, Ms Kholiwe Shange (Senior HC Manager) and Ayanda Shandu (HC Administrator), shared valuable information and knowledge necessary to equip students on (1) basic essential skills needed to enter the job market, (2) how to create a great cover letter, (3) how to create a great CV, and (4) interview preparation.
